My magazine cover engages with audiences by creating a sense of curiosity and interest. My magazine cover image depicts an RV driving on an empty road. It is meant to attract viewers who enjoy to camp, or people who own RVs. However, the cover image could attract viewers just by the way it looks. In other words, viewers may take interest in the cover image, causing them to then read the coverlines. This way, more people are likely to purchase the magazine. The coverlines of my magazine cover show its audience how this magazine would be helpful to them. For example, this magazine could be useful to new RVers by advertising motor homes and can also be useful to experienced RVers by recommending new destinations.
My product will be distributed through the internet; a digital magazine. I feel that this best suits its subject matter as it does not interest a great amount of people. If my magazine is published online, people can access it without directly searching for it. For example, if someone were to search up “best RV destinations,” a link of my magazine may come up (as there are numerous destinations within the magazine). However, printing my magazine and distributing it in stores such as outdoor world, gander mountain, etc. would increase its sales. This is because people who shop at these stores most likely already take interest in these activities, therefore more people are likely to purchase my magazine there than in, for example, a grocery store.
