Purchased Media Ownership

Purchased media ownership should mean exactly how it sounds. When media is purchased, it should be permanently available to the buyer. When this media is removed from the platform in which buyers access this media, lawsuits such as this one can accumulate. Amazon removed some of their media that was bought, and people did not agree with this. As a result, Amazon was sued. Buyers do not intend to have their bought media taken away, as buyers don't intend their physical purchases to be taken.

Downloaded media content should be semi-owned by it's buyer. If a buyer owns 100% the media content, it will not be available to other buyers. However, a buyer of downloadable media content should intend to have this media available to them permanently. This is because they "bought" the media, not "rented" (knowing it is available for a short period) it.
